I am a self taught baker with a passion for making beautiful and delicious cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. My love for baking started at an early age. I had the opportunity to watch and learn from some of the best cooks and bakers around; my grandmother and mother. My grandmother was wild and fearless in the kitchen. Throwing out tools and measuring cups she preferred to cook and measure ingredients by feel. She was a naturally gifted cook. She taught me to love food; to be adventurous and fearless when it came to cooking, baking and decorating. I also learned a great deal from my wonderful mother. My mother, unlike my grandmother, was precise. Using a scale to get the most accurate measurements and her attention to detail taught me to pay close attention to the smallest of details in baking and decorating. Baking, after all, is a science and the smallest details missed can lead to catastrophic results. After my sweet daughters were born, I sought out to make the best vanilla cake and cookies for their birthday parties. From that moment, my obsession with searching out and making the most delicious desserts grew! I ultimately decided to leave the corporate world, spend time with my family and young daughters, and provide delicious baked good to family and friends. From that, Sugar Love Bake Shop was born. I now spend my days doing what I love. Being with my loved ones and providing unique, delicious, and crowd pleasing desserts. It is my mission to leave my clients with a memorably delicious experience with every bite and spread a little love in doing so!
